How to Remove Noise in Bandicam
First of all, you need to make sure that you know what is causing the noise to appear. In case you don't, here are the different situations where you might have a noise when you're recording your Skype calls with Bandicam:
#1: The video starts with a strange noise:
In case you noticed that your videos tend to start with a little audio noise that almost sounds like a chipmunk squeak sound, the first thing you need to do is to check the version of your Bandicam software. As soon as you have it, try the .mp4 container. This should be able to solve the problem. However, if t doesn't, you can also try out the VLC Media Player. If it still doesn't solve the issue, the last solution is to uninstall the codec packs that you have on your computer.
#2: The microphone has an echo, robot, howling, sound:
In this case, you need to start by using a headset instead of speakers. The truth is that when you use speakers, the howling sound that you are noticing is the sound that is going from your speakers to the microphone. So, try to use a headset instead and see if you notice any differences. In case you just don't have a headset around, try to keep the speakers as far away as possible from the microphone and turn down your speaker volume.
Then, you need to open the Bandicam software and by clicking on the Settings button, and on the Sound tab, you will need to change the "Secondary Sound Device" to "Disable".
In case you are using the #Two Sound Mixing" option on your computer, make sure that you go to the "Playback" tab, just double-click on the "Speakers", and click the Levels tab. Here, mute the microphone volume. Right next to the Playback tab, you have the Recording tab. Make sure you enter there as well and just double click "Microphone", click the Levels tab, and leave the "Listen to this device" box unchecked.
#3: Removing the microphone noise:
When you want to remove your microphone noise, the first thing you need to do is to open the Bandicam software and hit the Settings button. Here, choose the Sound tab and make sure to select the "Disabled" option for the Secondary Sound Device.
The next step is to actually reduce the microphone volume. In case you used the "Two Sound Mixing" option, you need to click on the Sound, choose the Recording tab, and put the microphone at the 50% level.
How to Remove Noise in Bandicam Recorded Videos with Bandicam Alternative
As you already know, one of the best alternatives to the Bandicam software is the DemoCreator.
The truth is that both software are free and they both allow you to record Skype calls without any problems. However, DemoCreator seems to be one step ahead of Bandicam. The fact that you can use this software on both Mac and Windows is a great advantage. And then, you have all the different formats they support and that they allow you to import and export. This can really make your videos stand out.
However, just like it can happen when you are recording a video, you may get some audio noise. So, how can you remove this noise using the DemoCreator?
The first thing you need to do is to export the audio from the video that is having some noise problems. The best way to do it is to use the Wondershare DemoCreator, a video editing software that will separate both so that you can export your audio as MP3.
You will need to import the video to Wondershare DemoCreator and then split and delete those parts that you just don't want to keep. In order to detach the audio from the video, just select the "Audio Detach" option.
By clicking on the Edit panel, select the "Remove background noise" checkbox.
Finally, just make sure that you use the Equalizer to fine-tune the audio of your video to make sure it looks more natural and make it fit, frame by frame, to the video.
